Summer is a season filled with lists of musts – hikes to go on, books to read, movies to see – with an air of free time which must be promptly filled with moments of joy, experiences of delight, and a quiet peace.
ReKon Productions is not above joining the summer bandwagon – but as always life, even summer, is a different experience for our ReKoners. Production stops for no one and no matter how much our office may resemble a college dorm or high school history classroom, our summer is not the ideal vacationing season. So we bring to you, a very ReKon twist on the vacation favorite of reading – our Summer Audible Book Club!
ReKon’s Summer Audible Book Club is giving into a nostalgia of having someone read to you (Amy Poehler sounds like everyone’s mom, right?) while perfectly balancing the traffic lifestyle of Los Angeles. It’s about absorbing another story and multitasking, one might even call it a producer behavior.
So we invite each of you to join us in our listening adventures during the summer! Listen along with one of your favorite ReKoners with a new pick every two weeks. Be part of the conversation while listening by catching favorite quotes and points of discussion on our Facebook and our Twitter. Then at the end of your listening experience mosey on back here and find out what the ReKoner thought about the book, the audio and how it related to their sitting on the 10 freeway in 101-degree heat.
New Selections are announced every two weeks on Wednesday by 3 PM on all our social media platforms (From June 21st to September 12th). Special Audible Links will be available with the announcement or you can find links on the schedule below.
