Meet Spring Intern: Caitlyn Hardy

Lesley

April 7, 2014

Caitlyn was just a regular kid until a small book series called Harry Potter took over her life and jumpstarted a lifelong love and commitment to stories, both on the page and on the screen.  She is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California, where she has studied Narrative Studies, Film, and Communications and has written papers about everything from millennials and sitcoms, the evolution of the English language, and science fiction literature.

She has worked for the past year at Trojan Vision, USC’s television station, and currently is the Senior Producer for the Wednesday edition of the morning show, The Morning Brew.  Producing and crewing for live television has taught Caitlyn a lot about dealing with all the things that inevitably go wrong at once during a live broadcast and has also given her an opportunity to do a full cardio workout each week as she races around the television station to fix problems.   Her great love is television, especially comedic television, though put anything in front of her and she’s probably going to find a reason to love it.

Caitlyn is an intern for ReKon Productions and a senior at USC, graduating in May.
